Love and Memories of Braxton

My Angel It's been a year since you went away, it hurts so much to remember that awful day. Our hearts have never been the same, for when you left you took a piece of them with you, to hold us close, leaving a hole that will never mend. You were with us such a short while, but you gave so much. You loved life and had so much energy.

I still remember the feel of your cheek against mine, your little wet kisses, the way your soft fluffy hair floated up and down when you ran....you were everything a little boy should be. Your life was just getting started; we weren't done spoiling you yet.

If only we could have heard you say in words, "I love you, " or "Can I go to the store with you?" There were many things in your life we are going to miss, but God had different plans. You are with him now, in Heaven, and we know you're safe. There are so many loved ones who went on ahead, waiting to meet you and to care for you. We must finish our lives, and live them to please God so we can join you in paradise, and be together again. We love you and miss you, sweet Grandson!

In memory of our precious Grandson Braxton, who died on August 19, 2003 at 17 months old.

~~Love, Grandma and Grandad Bush
