I begged our Lord to leave you here just for another
day. There were things I had to tell you, things you had to know,

I think He knew once your hand held mine I'd never let you go.
I asked, I begged, I pleaded, I fell on to my knees in prayer.
"Please don't take our Rosina, the pain we just can't bear"
I'm trying hard to keep my faith, but I feel it slip away,
when her child cries out "Mummy, tell me what to say." So I
ask you just to tell her pass the message on, I love you,
our Rosina, we're broken hearted now you're gone.
